   Birds are provided with feed and clean drinking water as part of a daily routine.

   Routine bird observation

   Farm staff observe flocks during daily work so that changes in behaviour or condition can be noticed and acted upon.

   Egg collection

   Eggs are collected regularly and moved carefully to the handling area.

   Inspection

   Eggs are checked, and cracked, dirty or irregular eggs are set aside.

   Sorting and grading

   Eggs are sorted according to the requirement of each order.

   Tray packing

   Eggs are packed into standard trays for commercial handling.

8. 08

   Storage

   Packed eggs are held in orderly storage until orders are prepared.

9. 09

   Order preparation

   Quantities are counted and checked against the confirmed order.

10. 10

    Dispatch

    Orders are released for collection or dispatch as agreed with the buyer.
